Promov exothermic welding uses high temperature reaction of powdered copper oxide and aluminum. It is a method of welding copper, iron, steel and ferroalloy without extra power.

To weld different size conductors, a graphite mold is needed. Simply place the conductors to be welded in the mold, add the powder, ignite the starting powder, and the reaction will occur. Once cooled, open the mold to reveal the finished conductor connection. We supply various connections along with the matched mold and welding powder.
